MORE UPCOMING WORKSHOPS IN 2018....

WORKING IN A SERIES: July 2018

Location: River Gallery School, Brattleboro, VT

In this 3-day intensive  painting workshop we will explore the process of painting in a series in order to move quickly into developing exciting visual ideas, while working intuitively and finding ways to challenge ourselves in beneficila and productive ways. Working in a series provides the opportunity to gain a rhythm and momentum within our painting. As a result, we are able to more effectively develop visual concepts and ideas while achieving multiple images that are harmonious. By working small, students will be able to build a small body of work and will be supported in exploring new imagery while developing their own unique voice within the mode of abstraction.

Students are provided with a generous supply of painting materials and supplies. Students are responsible for supplying their own painting surfaces.
